Books should not be a luxury.

We appreciate that many families in our community are hit particularly hard by COVID-19, especially as kids are no longer able to access libraries.

Luckily, many kind souls have bought pay-it-forward vouchers to help us send on books to those who need them but don’t have the resources to buy them.

This special lucky dip allows you to order up to 3 picture books FREE, and we’ll settle up on our end using pay-it-forward vouchers bought by other readers.

We have a small but perfectly form wee children’s section in the shop, and pride ourselves on a vibrant, diverse range. These lucky dip picture books, suitable for wee readers aged between 3 and 6 years old, will be randomly, but lovingly picked by us right out off a shelf in the bookshop.

This option will stay live as long as there are available funds in the Pay-It-Forward pot. We’re operating on trust, no questions asked.
